Under the leadership of master Upholsterer, Julian Avelino, ANJ has grown steadily by staying focused on providing exceptional quality at surprisingly affordable prices.

Julian has been working in custom upholstery for over seventeen years. He started working at Eva’s Decorators in White Plains  NY, where he learned the basics of the craft. There he discovered his passion for the business and avidly sought to learn more skills, eventually working his way up to supervisory positions. Julian continued to advance his skills while working for companies such as Tiger Lily’s, J. Paul Inc., and the Marshal & Grandal Company. As he progressed, he learned the finer points of more specialized work such as custom drapery, window treatments, and antique restoration. Having gained exceptional experience in the field, Julian to decided to start his own business. He started off with one person and now employs eight craftsmen at his workshop in Pleasantville, NY. Today, Julian works with top interior designers as well as individuals with a passion for the decorative arts. His mastery of the craft and steadfast commitment to quality has earned ANJ Interiors the loyalty and genuine gratitude of his clients.
